A pair of wrestlers from Wisconsin schools won individual championships at the two-day 2018 Pete Willson Wheaton Invitational January 26-27 in Wheaton, Illinois.
Wesley Schultz (UW La Crosse) won it all at 197 pounds and Grant Wedepohl (UW Platteville) was tops at 184.
Schultz entered the tournament as the No. 5 seed in his bracket and posted a perfect 5-0 record capturing the 197-pound championship.
